Our Ratings
Curima Publishing has developed the following rating guidelines based on our internal assessments so that we may assist parents, educators, retailers, and consumers to make informed choices in their selection of reading material and animation titles. The rating icons below are usually located on the back covers of our publishing products. We hope you will use them to guide you in selecting appropriate titles.
Teen (13+)
May be suitable for early teens and older. For example, may contain violence, infrequent use of strong language, suggestive themes or situations, crude humor, alcohol and/or tobacco use.
May be suitable for older teens and adults. For example, may contain intense and/or gory violence, sexual content, frequent strong language, alcohol, tobacco and/or other substance use.
Please Note: While we try to apply these rating guidelines in a clear and consistent way, they are based on our internal subjective assessments and are meant for general guidance only. We cannot guarantee uniform application and they should not be considered the equivalent of any regulatory standard.
